Vali is an enigma, with his personality shifting rapidly like a rushing river, it is hard to pin point exactly what he will do next. Dramatic, charming, serious, bored, lazy and sometimes even cruel, Vali can be it all. However, regardless of what personality he decided to pick up for you, there is something unusual about him. Something that isn't quite right.Every word he speaks sounds like deceit, as if he is purposefully misleading everyone who speaks to him to think he is lying. Even simple things, things that normal people wouldn't lie about, sound like lies. Ask him about his past and he'll unravel a grand tale of adventures that he may or may not have been on.The viera often surrounds himself in grandeur. Manipulating the social life is something he specializes in with his charming, yet strange personality. Oftentimes, people get drawn in on his stories, only to find their lips become loose, and their coin purse lightened. He loves golds and jewels, and isn't afraid of dressing up when he isn't on the field.

The typical: Vali is from Golmore Jungle. A wood-warder through and through.You can run, but you can't hide: Vali is a skilled tracker. He spent at least a hundred years tracking, snaring and killing his prey in the jungle. This skill has been very useful to track down missing people as well. With enough coin, he might be convinced to do just that.The accent: He spent a good chunk of his life in Dalmasca, or southern Othard in general.The Corpse Lily: In the far past, there was an infamous mercenary that went by the alias "The Corpse Lily". It was said he would carry the scent of death and rot. It is unknown if it was him, or the deadly poison he laced his blades with that caused the horrid smell. He was mostly active around Dalmasca, so anyone from there might have heard of him.The Resistance or the Opressor?: Its common knowledge that the Empire occupies Dalmasca. It is also common knowledge that there is a resistance against them. The Corpse Lily worked for whomever paid the most at the time. It wouldn't be unheard of if someone remembered him, or even had a grudge against him for his past deeds.You think I'm going to do that?: He's lazy. Simply put, he won't do anything that he has to put effort into without the right amount of coin. You can also catch him sleeping in random places as well. Is that him sleeping on a box? Probably.You stink: Vali has a sensitive nose. If he picked up your scent before, there is a high chance he'll be able to find you again. It's so sensitive that it can even pick up aether. Depending on the aether, it smells differently. Voidsent, or other corrupted aether often smells of death, and those with pure or strong aether smells sweet.I stink: To the untrained nose, he will smell of herbs or other floral scents. To those with a sensitive or trained nose, they might pick up something else, the subtle scent of death.The horns: They're fake. See? Try pulling on them. But don't touch them either. Jackalopes don't exist, after all. That's just a folktale.It's just a fever: His skin is warmer to the touch than normal, and if you somehow manage to actually touch his horns, they are hot. Those with aethersense might notice chaos in his, almost like a raging fire.Part-time bartender: And a pretty bad one at that. You might catch him in Cloak and Dagger pretending to know how to mix drinks. Or, more likely, eating their cheese cake for free.You: Roleplaying is a two way street.
